Two World Premiers for Opel at Geneva

Opel will have two world premiers at this year's Geneva Motor Show, the all-new Mokka sub-compact SUV and the new Astra OPC.

With the new Mokka (pictured above), Opel is the first German manufacturer to enter the fast growing SUV-B segment.

The Mokka accommodates five people in a higher seating position. Three engines include the petrol 1.6 115hp and the 140hp 14 Turbo versions, as well as the 1.7 CDTI 130hp. The car has new cutting edge safety technologies like Driver Assistance Systems based on the Opel Eye front camera system, as well as a rear view camera. Front-wheel and AWD are both available in the new Mokka.

The new 280hp Astra OPC (pictured) compact sports coupe is the most powerful Astra ever and offers customers a sporty driving experience. The 2.0 turbocharged petrol engine with 280hp is capable of maximum torque of 400 Nm and a top speed of 250 km/h. Never before has an Astra reached such a speed (not allowed here!) The Astra OPC also features a new high-performance bucket seat with state-of-the-art technology.
