Following a terrific start to the season in Monza - where Chevrolet collected a double and triple podium finishes in the two races at Italy's temple of speed the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza - the Cruzes are heading to another of the most popular venues in the WTCC calendar, Valencia, Spain.
Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2012 FIA World Touring Car Championship take place there on 31 March and 1st April.
The Circuito Ricardo Tormo plays host in the second round. The circuit is one of the most challenging for the Cruzes, which are still carrying additional weight ballast as in the Monza races. With its twisty and technical design, Valencia is a punishing circuit for brakes and tyres, and one where rear-wheel drive and lighter cars have a clear advantage.
The Chevrolet team of Muller, Huff and Menu are undergoing further testing in Italy in preparation for the Valencia event.
