New Toledo for Geneva
SEAT is to show a near to production concept of a new generation Toledo at Geneva next week, writes Brian Byrne.
The car shows a new 'face' of the Spanish brand and will be the fourth generation of a nameplate first rolled out in 1991, when it was the first SEAT car developed entirely under VW ownership of the brand.
The new Toledo is aimed at reviving SEAT's fortunes in the compact family saloon segment. The third generation of the car was a hatchback with rather daring design that didn't go down so well in many European markets.
