Caterham F1 Team are the latest team from the FIA Formula One World Championship to be confirmed for Bavaria City Racing Dublin which brings the world of motorsport - including F1, WRC, Super Cars, Super Bikes and Drifters - onto the streets of Dublin on Sunday 3 June.
Taking part in the Dublin event are Jenson Button (pictured at a previous motor show with Frank Kennedy, Marketing Director of Honda Ireland) and his Vodafone McLaren F1 team; the Aprilia Superbike team with Irish World Superbike star Eugene Laverty (pictured below), the Motorbase British Touring Car team (with young Irish Racing Driver of the Year, Aron Smith), and the Mini Cooper WRC team.
The Dublin event will provide five hours of non-stop motorsport action for all to enjoy. The city track starts at the Convention Centre Dublin, continues along Customs House Quay before crossing Butt Bridge, chicanes at D'Olier Street, zips past College Green and the Central Bank on Dame Street before reaching the chequered flag on O'Connell Bridge.
Bavaria City Racing Dublin is a free public event and over 150,000 people are expected to line the streets of Dublin to enjoy the best the world of motorsport has to offer. For those who want to get closer to the action, there are three ticketed premium performance zones on the track at Customs House Quay, O'Connell Bridge and at the Main Paddock on North Wall Quay. The O'Connell Bridge Performance Zone is sold out but spaces are still available at Customs House Quay and in the Main Paddock.
