To mark their first summer sailing to Roscoff, Irish Ferries is hosting a wine fair on board the Oscar Wilde departing Rosslare on Friday 11 May and arriving back two days later.
Talks, tastings and a preview of the wines they can buy ashore have been laid on for passengers with discounts of 10-12 percent available.
In attendance will be wine growers from Château Ballan-Larquette and the Médoc and Graves region of Bordeaux, Château de Marjolet in the Rhône Valley, Domaine de Gagnebert in the Loire Valley and Boutinot Wines from the Languedoc Roussillon region as well as brands from Michel Lynch and Michel Laroche.
Fares are from €99 return per adult, €59 per child, which includes bed in a two-bed cabin with shower and toilet. A car or motorbike can be brought for only €89 return when two or more adults travel together.
