This new four-door compact saloon completes the Astra line-up.
Customers can initially choose between six engines; three petrol units 1.4 (100hp), 1.6 six-speed automatic (115hp), 1.4 turbo (140hp) and three diesel engines ranging from 95hp to 130hp.
Two 1.7 CDTi ecoFLEX with Start/Stop system and further efficiency enhancing technologies combine powerful outputs of 110hp or 130hp with diesel consumption figures as low as 3.7 L/100kms. This is equivalent to just 99g/km C02 emissions.
Prices have yet to be announced.
