A Citroen C-Zero electric car yesterday completed the first round-the-world trip of a production car, writes Brian Byrne.
The car arrived in Strasburg after a journey that began there last February and covered 25,000km of road in that time.
It was driven by Xavier Degon and Antonin Guy, and their route took them through eastern Europe, Russia, China, Singapore, Japan and the United States.
The journey required 300 charges through 17 countries, at a total cost of €250 for the power.
The car is pictured above in Prague.
