Volvo has released details of a Cross Country version of its V40, writes Brian Byrne.
The variant rides 40mm higher than the standard hatchback and has a number of individual style cues that reflect the Cross Country ethos first introduced in 1997 with the V70 Cross Country estate.
An R-Design version of the car has also been announced. Both will feature at the Paris Motor Show later this week.
