Sponsored by Continental Tyres Ireland, the overall winner of the 2013 title will be announced at an awards ceremony in the Convention Centre Dublin, Spencer Dock, Dublin 1, on Thursday November 22, 2012.
The ahortlisted cars are the BMW 3 Series, BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé, BMW M5, Ford B-Max, Kia cee'd, Kia Optima, Mazda CX-5, Mercedes-Benz M-Class, Peugeot 208, Toyota GT86, and the Volvo V40.
From 35 eligible cars, selection of the shortlisted vehicles is based on votes from the 28 voting members of the IMWA, taking into account such factors as value for money, style, engineering and performance.
The winner of last year’s Continental Irish Car of the Year was the Kia Rio.
