Five stars for new Santa Fe

Hyundai's New Generation Santa Fe has been awarded the maximum five-star safety rating by Euro NCAP. Its scores across all four test categories making it one of the safest vehicles ever assessed and a leader in its segment.

This D-segment seven-seater SUV achieved a class-leading 96 percent in the 'adult occupant' category; 89 percent in the 'child occupant' category; 71 percent for pedestrian safety, and 86 percent for 'safety assist'. Safety features include a new 'active' bonnet for protecting pedestrians.

Hyundai's i30 Tourer achieved the maximum five star rating from Euro NCAP last month.
