Volvo announce January 2013 prices
Volvo has introduced new lower cost entry versions of a number of their models for 2013 under the grade name Focus, writes Trish Whelan.
January 2013 prices for the Volvo S60 (pictured above) and V60 ranges start from €33,595 for the S60 and from €35,945 for the V60. Both variants are in tax band A4. The new Focus 1.6 diesel D2 SE versions offer a premium level of specification without a premium price. Fuel consumption figures are 4.3 and 4.5 L/100km. Bluetooth is now standard across both the S60 and V60 ranges.
Prices for the new Volvo Focus 2.0 D4 FWD Volvo XC60 (pictured left) start from €38,995-€48,245 plus delivery and related charges. C02 emissions are 139 and 178g/km and fuel consumption of 5.7 and 6.8 L/100kms respectively. The XC60 falls into tax band B2 for manual versions and E for Geartronic versions for both VRT and road tax.
Both S80 (pictured right) and V70 cars can be ordered in D3 engines in conjunction with SE trim with C02 emissions of 114g/km and 148g/km and fuel consumption of 4.3 (4.5 V70) and 5.6 (5.7 V70) L/100kms. Both are in tax band A4 for manual versions and Band C for Geartronic versions.
S80 prices are from €37,795-€40,795.
Prices for the V70 D3 are from €41,145-€44,145.
The SE trim includes 17-inch alloys, City Safety, Electyronic climate control, Cruise control, Leather steering wheel, Rain sensor, Rear park assist and Leather upholstery.
