PSA platforms for next Corsa, Zafira

The next Opel Corsa and Zafira will use Peugeot-Citroen platforms, under an agreement to jointly develop future cars, writes Brian Byrne.

The first cars under the agreement will roll off the linhes in 2016.

The next Corsa and Citroen's C3 will be on the same platform, as will the next Peugeot 3008 and Opel Zafira compact MPVs.

In a statement, both companies say the joint development plans will have no effects on their respective factories in Germany and France.
