Renault has butched up its Scenic to include an 'urban warrior' crossover variant, the XMOD, writes Brian Byrne.
The car will debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month, and will incorporate a traction control system called Extended Grip which can be manipulated by a rotary switch to offer different levels of operation depending on the road or track conditions.
The front end design is a development of Renault's new corporate style, and the launch of the XMOD parallels the introduction of the same styling in the general Scenic range.
There have also been improvements to the Scenic range interiors, as well as more efficient engines.
