The Qoros compact sedan will be the first production model from the company, owned by Chinese and Israeli interests.

The company will also show an estate and a hybrid crossover in concept forms.

The car will be launched in China towards the middle of this year and in Europe before the end of 2013.

Magna Steyr, TRW, Continental, Bosch, Getrag, Benteler, Lear, Microsoft, Harman, Neusoft-Alpine and Iconmobile are among the suppliers to the new brand, which will build its cars in Changshu, China. The Director of Production is Alexander Wortberg, formerly of BMW.

Power will be initially from 1.6 petrol engines with a choice of outputs. The company is also developing a 3-cylinder 1.2 turbocharged petrol motor.
