Ireland boss Giovanni Trapattoni and soccer legend Paul McGrath were on hand to launch the 2013 Monster Car Draw in support of the Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre in Drogheda writes Brian Byrne.
Main Ford Dealer, Smiths of Drogheda, is to provide the top prizes of two new Fiestas for the 2013 Monster Car Draw. Participants in the draw will also have the opportunity of winning one of three generous cash prizes.
In expressing his gratitude to Ford and Smith's of Drogheda for their support, Gary Kelly said the centre can continue to provide the 'invaluable support to local families touched by cancer, with all services provided free of charge'.
Tickets for the draw cost €5 each and can be purchased from either the Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre on George's Street (and online at www.gkcancersupport.com) or from Smith's of Drogheda on the North Road. Ticket sellers will also be out and about around the North East and at shopping centres over the coming months. In addition, An Post will be delivering pre-paid return envelopes to some 205,000 households in Louth, Meath, Cavan, Monaghan and North County Dublin, making it simple for householders to participate in the fundraising draw.
Smiths will offer a free ticket to anyone who takes a test drive in one of their cars ahead of the draw which takes place on Friday, 28 June 2013.
