Mercedes-Benz chief executive Stephen Byrne (right) and sales manager Ciaran Allen are pictured standing amongst the 'stars' at the recent launch of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class - one new model which is now available in two distinctly different design versions.
The Classic version (on the left) comes with louvered grille and bonnet-mounted star aimed at traditional E-Class owners. On the right is an Avantgarde version aimed at younger buyers with its punchy lines, squat looks, sports style grille and inset star.
Traditionally, E-Class accounts for half of all Mercedes-Benz sales in Ireland. Prices are broadly comparable to the outgoing range with the E200 CDi diesel priced at €44,540 (ex works) with an annual road tax of €270.
