Drogheda Motor Show launched

The Drogheda Motor Show was launched this week at the Tall Ships Festival, writes Brian Byrne.

Simon McCormack of Western Motors is inviting the public to the show on 7, 8 and 9 June in Southgate Shopping Centre at Colpe. He says it's going to be the biggest and best show they have put on yet and will be a great day out for the family to enjoy, especially as it is free entry for all. Most events will take place indoors.

This weekend event will showcase the 2013 new car range from 11 local franchise motor dealerships and launch the new '132' number plate.

It will also feature several new exhibitions, including a Vintage car display, safety demonstrations and a new lifestyle theme and will show new car buyers how their cars can be fitted out for their holidays, their sports activities or for the comfort of those in the back seats!

Drogheda Motor Dealers employ over 150 local people and there are cash back offers on cars purchased at the show. The Motor Dealers hosted the Mayor of Drogheda Paul Bell; Minister Fergus O'Dowd, Deputy Ged Nash as well as many other local dignitaries who all wished the show continued success. International model Michelle McGrath added glamour to the event.
