With more than one million people expected to attend events in the historic walled city during the year, the Steeds will be used for transporting artists and their equipment, as well as media and guests between the many venues and events.
Under the agreement with Culture Company 2013, Great Wall has supplied two co-branded Steed SE pick-ups which will be used to facilitate logistics for the many events planned. They will also provide additional vehicles to help carry the load during peak times in the schedule.
The Great Wall franchise is operated here by the importers of Subaru in Ireland. The entry-level Steed S is billed as 'Ireland's most affordable 4x4 double-cab pick up' at €21,995 (excl. VAT, delivery and related charges) and comes with a six year / 200,000km warranty. It has a maximum payload of 1,050kg.
