Killarney's Paul Nagle, recently contracted to the Peugeot Sport Academy and co-driver to rally ace Craig Breen, has taken delivery of a new Peugeot 208 Active 1.4 HDi to celebrate his appointment as a Brand Ambassador for Peugeot Ireland and Reen's Car Sales Rathmore, Main Peugeot Dealers for Co Kerry, writes Trish Whelan.
The 208, currently Continental Irish Small Car of the Year 2013, accounts for 7.6 percent of the small car segment, year to date. Craig Breen also drives a Peugeot 208 as a Peugeot Brand Ambassador since earlier this year.
Paul recently landed the new Peugeot Sport Factory Rally Driver co-driver position and was selected to train at the new Peugeot Sport Rally Academy. He and Craig have comfortably secured three 2nd places and a 3rd place in the current ERC contest and will race in eight European Rally Championship events this year. Their next event, the GEKO Ypres rally in Belgium takes place on 27-29 June.
Craig is leading an intensive test programme for the newly named Peugeot 208 T16, destined for the ERC scene in late 2013 and no doubt Paul will take his place by his side.
