New Toyota Corolla here end July

Toyota's 11th generation version of the Corolla, will be available in Ireland from the end of July, writes Trish Whelan.

While the all-new Corolla inherits 47 years of Corolla DNA of quality, durability and reliability, this new model offers a significant step change in its design, as well as best in class fuel economy, improved driving dynamics and upgraded safety features.

Seats are more comfortable and there's more rear legroom as well as increased luggage space due to the car's extended wheelbase. Drivers also benefit from an improved ergonomic positioning and easy intuitive operability of all switchgear and instrumentation.

In-car technology includes the second generation of the Toyota Touch, a 6.2-inch full colour, touch-screen multimedia system with a rear reversing camera and Bluetooth.

The Corolla has a revised, Euro 5+ compliant engine line-up.
