Kuga covers the country for National Heritage Week
When the National Heritage Week wanted a photographic record of events all around the country, they organised a photographic team, writes Brian Byrne.
But then they needed a vehicle to get them around a representative selection of the 1,700 locations where heritage gigs are taking place.
Ford helped out with a new generation Kuga, which is rugged enough to handle any terrain or weather, and economical enough not to bring crippling fuel bills into the equation.
From dancing at the crossroads in Cork, prehistoric hunting games in Donegal, touring the tenements of Dublin City, learning about the Wicklow Gold Rush of 1795 to becoming a mini ranger for the day and exploring the wildlife of Clara Bog in Offaly ... there is something for everyone to enjoy during National Heritage Week.
And if you see the Kuga team, give them a wave ... they'll be clocking up the kilometres, but probably enjoying it.
A cup of tea probably wouldn't be refused, either.
