Honda has shown new pictures of the Civic Tourer which will debut at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, writes Brian Byrne.
The very stylish new variant of the brand's compact model follows very closely the concept which was shown at the Geneva show in March.
It will be powered by the same 1.6 diesel which was made available in the saloon and hatch Civics earlier this year, and which will also be in the CR-V SUV soon.
Honda claims a class-leading luggage capacity of 624 litres with the rear seats in use, in part because of the placing of the fuel tank under the front seats of the car. The company says this rivals even large car wagons in the European and Irish markets.
A new rear-wheels adaptive damper system will provide level car attitude regardless of whether it is loaded or not.
