Audi Waterford steers into record books

Over 300 Audi drivers got behind the wheel for charity last Sunday, 15 September, to support Audi Waterford in its Guinness World Records attempt for the longest Audi convoy in the world, writes Trish Whelan.

The current record stands at 282 Audi cars.

Audi Waterford has now sent its world record attempt into Guinness World Records for verification and hopes it will appear in the record books in the coming weeks.

Brendan Walsh, general manager, Audi Waterford has thanked all those Audi customers who showed up for the event. Over €8,000 was raised on the day for charities - Solas Centre, Temple Street Children's Hospital, RESPECT and Waterford Hospice Movement.
