The latest version of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van has been launched here with engines that meet new Euro VI emissions standards, writes Brian Byrne.
Safety features never before offered in this category of van include crosswind assist to help keep the van safely on course when winds are gusting strongly.
Also available as optional extras are collision prevention assist which sounds an alert should the vehicle come too close to other moving traffic ahead and blind spot assist which alerts the driver to the presence of other vehicles when changing into an adjoining lane.
