SsangYong appoint five dealers in Munster

Korean car manufacturer SsangYong Motors have added five new dealerships in the Munster region to their expanding national dealer network, writes Trish Whelan.

Cork will be served by Cashman Car Sales, Midleton, while the Waterford area is being served by Waterford Motor Village. Fahy and Ryan Car Sales, Templemore, will serve the Tipperary area while Hinchy's Ennis Road and Hinchy's Garyspillane will be serving the people of Limerick and surrounding areas. All dealerships are now officially open for business. Martin Fahy and Sean Ryan, Managing Directors of Fahy and Ryan Motors appointed SsangYong Dealers for Tipperary.

Speaking of the appointments Dealer Development Manager John Keogh said they have appointed 'high quality, trusted dealers with outstanding reputations in their localities all across Munster'.

Michael Walshe, Sales Manager; Keith Kelly, Sales Manager; and Bernard Cashman, Managing Director, Cashman Car Sales, Midleton, Co Cork.

SsangYong are expecting the majority of sales to come from the Korando SUV as well as the Rexton, available early next year.

John Hinchy, Managing Director; Dave Pearse, Sales Executive; and Vincent Daly, Sales Executive, from Hinchy's Ennis Road, Limerick

Commercial sales are also expected from the Korando Sports and Korando Commercial, both of which have been nominated for 2014 Irish Motoring Writers Association (IMWA) Van of the Year (Commercial SUV category).
