The Christmas lights, which are co-sponsored by Electric Ireland, will be lighting in the grounds of the Castle until 6 January 2014. The hotel is asking guests who visit the Castle this Christmas season to consider making a donation to St Vincent de Paul. A donation box will be situated in the hotel's lobby and all proceeds will be presented to the charity in January.
Fun at the official 'switching on' of the lights include an appearance from Santa Claus, and music from Cabinteely Gospel Choir. Also, for those very important Santa letters, there will be a special postbox set up in the Castle.
