The new Certified Steel Standard (CSS) for vehicle bodyshop repairers in Ireland is a voluntary programme and details the minimum requirements for competent personnel, equipment, suitable repair methods and quality of repair materials. Bodyshops are independently audited.
The Standard was developed by SIMI and requires significant investment and commitment of resources.
