Four weeks before the opening of the 84th Geneva International Motor Show, the automobile world is preparing for one of its most important events where exhibitors will be presenting their latest offerings.
All the important manufacturers in the world will have their own stands at the show.
Held every March, Geneva is a really important event for the Irish Motor Trade with representatives of many of our car companies in attendance, for their own reveals as well as to eye up what their competitors will have to offer.
Some 65 press conferences will take place during the two Press Days when car companies present their World or European premiers that precede the opening to the public. As usual, we will be there to bring you all the latest reveals and photos.
Besides all the gleaming metal on display through concept and production cars, for us some of the other 'stars' of the show are the designers, engineers and carpenters who build the stands. Their exceptional artistic and technical skills are currently being employed in their construction and decoration, each will be a fitting backdrop to the motor stars on show.
Visitors can work their way through the 250 exhibitors in the seven exhibition halls at Palexpo, a 10-minute 'private' walkway connection from Geneva Airport.
The Motor Show will open to the public from March 6-16, 2014.
