Volvo has designed an inflatable child seat which can be carried easily while flying abroad with your child, or easily brought around to the grandparents for a babysitting weekend, writes Brian Byrne.
The seat, currently in concept form, is also lightweight. It pumps up in 40 seconds and is as quickly deflated.
The design uses a military-grade material which can take very high pressures and becomes very strong when inflated.
