Audi officially opens new terminal in Athlone

Audi Athlone officially launched its brand new showroom last Friday with a host of well known faces from the world of sport and entertainment on hand to mark the official opening, writes Trish Whelan.

These included Audi Ireland brand ambassadors Rob Kearney and Kathryn Thomas as well as Audi Athlone ambassadors Bressie and IRUPA Young Player of the Year, Robbie Henshaw.

Situated on the old Dublin Road, the €4.4 million, 12-car showroom forms part of Audi Ireland's €80 million investment in its dealer network with further openings planned later in the year. To date, Audi Athlone has established 18 jobs at the showroom and plans to add five more positions by the end of the year.

As well as room for 12 cars inside, the dealership boasts up to 60 Audi Approved :plus used vehicles outside on display with an additional 100 car park spaces reserved for customer car parking and used models.

The Moore family has been in the motor business for 42 years.
