Opel has introduced a 'Country Tourer' variant to its Insignia line which is available in FWD and AWD versions, writes Brian Byrne.
The car has a higher ground clearance and underbody protection plates, and comes with a 163hp 2.0 diesel with emissions as low as 119g/km.
The starting price is €35,495 and the Country Tourer is available with manual or automatic transmissions. The top-end AWD automatic sells for €40,995 plus charges.
