The organisers said they needed vehicles that were spacious enough to take the VIPs and their luggage to and from the event, and ‘reliable enough to combat the heavy weather’ so 4x4 vehicles were a must’.
Joe Harris, CEO SsangYong Motors Ireland said they were delighted to be chosen as official vehicle providers for the event. He said “The farming community is a perfect fit for our new range of 4x4s and it was a great chance to demonstrate the versatility of the vehicles.”
Around 32,000 visitors attended the Gorey event. Rowland Smith from New Zealand claimed the ultimate prize from this four-day event.
