Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster debuts

This is how Aston Martin's Director of Design, Marek Reichman, describes the new Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Roadster.

When this luxury sports car arrives in markets around the world later this year, it will become the luxury British marque's most potent, fastest and fastest-accelerating series production roadster to date and follows in the broad tyre tracks of the V12 Vantage S Coupe that was launched to worldwide acclaim in 2013.

The open-top comes with characteristic sporting agility underpinned by a sports 'soundtrack' generated by its V12 engine and expertly-tuned sports exhaust.

It is equipped with the latest 565bhp Aston Martin AM28 6.0 V12 engine and is capable of sprinting from 0-100km/h in just 4.1 seconds. Maximum torque is 620 Nm.
