Kia's highlight car at the Paris Motor Show which begins this week will be the third generation Sorento, writes Brian Byrne.
The new car is longer, wider and lower than the current version, with an extended wheelbase and more cargo space. The company says that suspension innovations and a stronger structure will result in a more comfortable ride.
Power for the Irish market will be from a 2.2 diesel with 200hp. It arrives in the middle of next year.
Kia is also showing a refreshed Rio and Venga, both with significant changes to front and rear, and with interior upgrades including a new centre stack design on the Rio, the brand's best selling car globally.
A diesel-electric hybrid version of the Optima large saloon will also feature.
