"As we emerge from some lean years, Triton Showers have confirmed through their commitment that the future of Rallying in Ireland is secure."
Maynooth-based Triton Showers are already very well known in motorsport circles. Managing Director, Kevin Barrett is an avid supporter of Rallying and as a competitor has won the Galway Summer Rally and is also a former winner of the Mayo Rally. In the past, the company has supported many events throughout the country including the Circuit of Ireland and the regional South-East Rally series.
The Triton Showers National Rally Championship will rotate to eight different locations on a biennial basis due to the addition of Dublin based ALMC Rally and the Midland Rally in Roscommon that will join the series early next season.
The eight rounds of the 2015 Triton Showers National Rally Championship are: 1. Birr Rally (February); 2. Midland Rally )March); 3. Monaghan Rally (April); 4. Circuit of Munster (June); 5. Raven's Rock Rally (June); 6. Sligo Rally (July); 7. Galway Summer Rally (August); 8. Skibbereen Fastnet Rally (October). The series will be based on the best six scores from eight events.
