The petrol option will be available in a range of engines which include 1.6 and 2.0 diesels, the former which will be the volume seller, the company's MD Eddie Murphy says.
The new Mondeo was delayed in arrival, but goes on sale in November in a rising market that could reach 120,000 units in 2015, he added.
"We envisage around 3,000 units of Mondeo next year, which will bring us back to leadership of the segment," says Ciaran McMahon, who was yesterday named as the next MD of Ford Ireland, with the announced retirement of Eddie Murphy on 31 December.
New Mondeo will be available in 5-door and estate formats in a price range from €28,995-€36,446.
The Ford Options finance deal, which makes the car available from €299 a month, is based on a low interest 4.9 percent APR deal on a Mondeo Zetec 1.6 litre TDCi 115PS if ordered by November 30.
In addition, Ford is offering 151 registration buyers specially discounted upgrade packs that include a Mondeo Zetec Appearance Pack of 17" alloys, chrome door line and front and rear parking sensors, valued at €635 but available for €294 provided it is booked by November 30. The Titanium Winter Pack features heated seats and heated steering wheel and is available at no extra cost, representing a saving of €320.
