Audi enjoys best-ever January sales

Audi has reported its best ever January sales, delivering 1,208 cars in Ireland last month, a 24 percent rise on the same period in 2014, writes Trish Whelan.

The company's overall share of the Irish car market finished at 4 percent of a total 29,948 passenger cars sold in January.

Audi boss Christian Gussen says the record-breaking figures were a direct result of its dealer network investing in enhanced facilities. He added "Our model lines, flexible finance packages are resonating with customers."

Audi currently has 11 dealer partners across Ireland, including their most recent addition in the mid-West with the opening of Audi Limerick.
