Jensen revival

The Jensen name is to officially return to the road after 13 years since the previous company closed in 2001, writes Brian Byrne.

The name first appeared on the Interceptor of 1976, and will come back as a limited edition Jenson GT, to be built for the Jenson Group by Jensen International Automotive (JIA), well known for their modified Interceptor R models. The Jensen GT will be available exclusively through JIA.

The GT will be an interim new car until a planned Interceptor 2 is revealed in 2016.
