Here's the replacement for the Mercedes-Benz M-Class which debuts this week at the upcoming New York Auto Show, writes Brian Byrne.
It's to be called the GLE under M-B's new naming policy, which rationalises SUV vehicle styles and formats in a way that relates them to the segment passenger cars to which they are related.
So with the new car, the M-Class name disappears into automotive history.
