Mazda MX-5 RF here in January

The Irish prices for the new Mazda MX-5 RF folding hardtop version have been announced, writes Trish Whelan.

The car arrives in Irish Mazda showrooms in January with entry price being €31,495.

There will be two engines available in the MX-5 RF line up. A 2.0 with 160ps will join the 131ps 1.5 engine which is already available in the MX-5 Roadster.

There will be two grades and the more powerful engine will only be available in the GT grade and will feature a limited slip differential and 17" wheels as well as Bilstein dampers and strut brace.
