This is the Volvo S90 Excellence, a special long wheelbase version of the car which is designed to give its chauffeur-driven owner more space in which to work, writes Brian Byrne.
The Excellence, debuting at the Guangzhou Auto Show later this month, will be built in China and exported back to Europe and the USA.
A feature is the absence of a front passenger seat, to provide a main passenger with more room.
It will only be sold with the Volvo plug-in hybrid powertrain familiar from its availability in the XC90 large SUV.
A separate LWB version of the S90 will precede the Excellence version, which will accommodate the usual number of occupants for a car of its size.
