With the new BMW 5 Series already revealed and ready for launch here, the next stage is the wagon version, writes Brian Byrne.
It's pictured here ahead of its public debut as the 5 Series Touring at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
It has a slightly longer wheelbase, offering more cargo capacity and passenger space. Features will include button control of the rear seats, and hands-free operation of the tailgate.
The same long list of powertrain and technology elements as are on the saloon will pertain.
