This is Hyundai's new small crossover, the Kona, which will launch in European markets in August, writes Brian Byrne. The car was revealed today in Korea.
Bringing the brand into direct competition with the likes of Peugeot's 2008 and Opel's Mokka, the vehicle will be powered by 1.0 and 1.6 turbocharged petrol units first, with a new 1.6 diesel available from next year. A fully-electric version is also planned.
Irish arrival is not yet revealed. The Kia Stonic equivalent, teaser sketch below, will arrive in Ireland in October.
