Peugeot's new 5008 is now available to order in Ireland of €28,745, writes Brian Byrne.
The 7-seat SUV will have demonstrators in Irish dealer showrooms this month, and first deliveries will be in September.
The new generation 5008, like its European Car of the Year 2017-winning 3008 sibling, has shifted from being an MPV to its new genre and offers more interior space for occupants than the previous version.
Power options will include 1.2 and 1.6 petrol and 1.6 and 2.0 diesels, with the option of a 6-speed automatic transmission, and there will be a choice of five trim levels.
The top-end GT 2.0 litre BlueHDi automatic version features 3D navigation, voice recognition, and driver seat multi-point massage function.
