The new Audi A7 Sportback will arrive in Ireland in February 2018, writes Brian Byrne.
The car has been developed for highly automated driving, and 'piloted' driving functions will be gradually brought into production. These will include parking pilot, garage pilot and traffic jam pilot. That last will be introduced incrementally, depending on the legal situation in each market.
In all there are a total of 39 driver assistance systems available on the car.
There will be a choice of four- and six-cylinder engines in both petrol and diesel. The 3.0TDI 231hp is expected to be the most popular variant.
