An electric version of the Kia Niro will be one of 16 electrified vehicles to be offered by the Korean car-maker by 2025, writes Brian Byrne.
A concept of the EV Niro is debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, where the company is also showcasing autonomous and connected cars technology.
Kia is also getting into the car sharing business in a bigger way, following a pilot scheme in Korea last year. Their WiBLE scheme is being introduced to a number of European cities this year, and to other global centres in coming years.
The electric Niro concept is claimed to have a 383km range. The Niro is available in Ireland with a hybrid powertrain.
