Honda launched the production version of its all-new CR-V at Geneva today, for the first time the model without a diesel engine, writes Brian Byrne.
Instead, the very popular SUV from the Japanese carmaker will be sold with a 2.0 hybrid option for those who require more fuel efficiency than from the 1.5 petrol engine alone.
The car arrives in European showrooms in the autumn, and there will be 7-seat options.
Honda also showed a sport version of its EV Concept, snazzier than the boxy Urban EV of Frankfurt for which orders will open in early 2019.
