Renault is expanding its Megane Hatch and Sport Tourer ranges with the introduction of petrol TCe 139 engines on higher trim levels, writes Trish Whelan.
The TCe 130 engine is the most powerful entry-level petrol engine among Megane’s main competitors bringing a new level of refinement and performance to the model while offering lower nitrogen oxide and particulate emissions than diesel versions.
The new TCe engine is available across Expression, Dynamique Nav, Dynamique S Nav and GT Line Nav versions of the Megane Hatch and Sport Tourer. Megane versions from Dynamique Nav include Renault’s RLink 2 multimedia system which now features Apple Car Play and Android Auto smartphone replication as well as built-in satellite navigation.
Annual Road Tax is €200 (Tax Band A4).
The new Megane TCe 130 versions are now available to order from your local Renault dealership.
