A revised Mitsubishi Outlander plug-in hybrid goes on sale in Ireland next month at a starting price of €39,900, writes Brian Byrne.
Depending on grade, this represents an up to 20pc saving on the 2018 model.
Available in three specification levels, the vehicle is powered by a 2.4 petrol engine and electric motor combination, and features a 45km range on electric power alone (WLTP protocol).
As before, the three drive modes includes one that charges the battery during highway running so that full advantage can be taken of EV use in subsequent urban driving.
The revisions are mainly to the front, particularly to the grille.
The car is available with 2.2 diesel engines from €39,900. All models have 4WD.
