'Unprecedented' customer demand in other countries has delayed the Irish launch of the new Peugeot 508 until next spring, writes Brian Byrne.
The car was previewed here at the National Ploughing Championships and according to Peugeot Ireland there have been 'strong enquiries' in the car from potential Irish customers.
The new 508, which will be available in saloon and wagon forms, will have a starting price from €32,400.
Power will be from a 1.5 diesel, outputting 130hp. a plug-in hybrid petrol drivetrain will be sold on the new model from autumn 2019.
